BASQUEFEST

A unique concept

basque FEST aims to be a unique, open, international event, a date with Basque culture in its broadest sense. Music, design, literature, gastronomy, sport... Tradition, innovation, art, vanguard... Our culture: urban, Basque, cosmopolitan.

basque FEST is presented as a "cultural space", a meeting point for creation and interculturalism, created with a vocation to develop and become a prestigious event in the city in the short term, contributing to consolidating Bilbao's cultural leadership.

basque FEST aims to be a universal way of understanding "the Basque aspect”, which is, a cultural community recognised worldwide, extending from the Adour to the Ebro rivers, with its own personality and identity.

basque FEST aims to reinforce Bilbao's commitment as a benchmark for the concept of "Basque World" and its focus on culture as a factor of social cohesion, democratic development and economic growth.
